How Does the System Work?Bio•Reaction Bio•Oxidizers are treatment systems that use a Bio•Matrix™ to biologically absorb and digest VOCs, HAPs, and odorous compounds, with the by-products being respiratory levels of carbon dioxide and water vapor. The Bio•Matrix is a compost material sometimes referred to as media. When contaminated air enters the Bio•Matrix, a living community of fungi and microbes captures and digests carbon molecules, leaving only small amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapor to be released into the atmosphere. A Comparison of Approaches Bio•Reaction's Bio•Oxidizer• High Removal Efficiency Advancements in Media Design Bio•Reaction's proprietary mix of Bio•MATRIX™ media has been utilized successfully in a variety of VOC applications for over 10 years. The recent addition of a structure for the Bio•MATRIX™ to create BRI's patented Bio•airSPHERES™ has created the most advanced, long lasting, increased surface area media available. Bio•airSPHERES™ - An Innovative Solution Unlike traditional biofilters, Bio•Reaction's advanced media design prevents compaction and helps to maintain air flow. |
